What to expect during your therapy session with Cherrie
From the moment you begin your work with Cherrie, you’ll notice her warm, compassionate presence and her commitment to making you feel heard, supported, and respected. Each session is designed to be a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are.
In your first session, Cherrie will take time to get to know you—your concerns, your goals, and what's brought you to therapy. Together, you'll explore what you’d like to change or better understand in your life, and begin identifying meaningful goals for your work together.
Cherrie uses a collaborative, strength-based approach rooted in motivational interviewing. That means therapy with her is not a one-size-fits-all experience—it’s tailored to your unique needs and preferences. You’ll work side-by-side to explore challenges, develop practical tools, and create a clear path forward. Each week, you’ll build on progress, with gentle guidance and encouragement to help you stay aligned with your goals.
Whether you're seeking support for emotional wellness, relationship issues, or navigating career transitions, Cherrie brings both empathy and structure to help you make steady, empowering changes in your life.
Every step you take in therapy is a step toward greater clarity, confidence, and connection—with yourself and others.
